Truth on Cue is here, and one quiet phone ring might be all it takes to crack the night open.
My new single dives into the precise moment when calm dissolves and a single voice shatters everything you thought you knew. This Dark Gothic Pop Rock track blends shadowed atmospheres with raw emotion, weaving electric tension through every beat. At its core, I placed a haunting violin line that slips between the melodies like a whispered warning, lifting the entire song into something cinematic and trembling with truth.
The lyrics follow that fragile heartbeat right before sleep, when the world feels safe until the phone rings. The voice on the other end delivers an honesty sharp enough to wake your soul. I wanted to explore that collision, the split second where serenity fractures and reality demands to be heard.
I designed the production to layer gothic elegance with a modern edge. It features deep pulsing bass, shimmering distorted guitars, and a violin that cries, cuts, and consoles all at once. It does not just accompany the story. It becomes the pulse of the story, moving with every twist of fear, clarity, and awakening.

Lyrics:
A few soft minutes of quiet and rest
A moment of calm when your mind drifts its best
Your thoughts float gently the day fades away
Your body unwinding at the end of the day
Your nerves letting go as the darkness draws near
And sleep pulls you gently erasing the day’s every fear
You’re almost asleep with a soft quiet grin
Like a child drifting off as the night settles in
And right in that second just as peace settles down
In that very heartbeat before the calm can be gone
The phone starts ringing on and on
The voice on the line is the truth you fear to know
A word that chills your heart like a sudden winter blow
The voice brings a message saying it’s time to rise anew
Then softly it whispers almost funny but true
It isn’t the world that changed it’s you
A minute drifts by as you gather your strength
Fatigue pulls you under at arm’s gentle length
Your head growing heavy the weight of the day
The room dimly holding your thoughts as they sway
You long to slip back to the dream calling through
But just as your breathing finds rhythm so true
In that very moment again breaking through
The phone rings out on cue
The voice on the line is the truth you fear to know
A word that chills your heart like a sudden winter blow
The voice brings a message saying it’s time to rise anew
Then softly it whispers almost funny but true
It isn’t the world that changed it’s you
It’s you
You
It’s you
It’s truth
You know
It’s you
You know
It’s you
